Ryan Camp (Lead singer for Cynder & Curse Your Name featured on MTV's Battle for Ozzfest)

Music has been a driving force in my life from an early age. Music is actually what led me to film and video work in the first place (it's a long story). During my early years I was a vocalist for the hard rock/metal band Cynder, who went on have national acclaim and be featured on MTV's reality show "Battle for Ozzfest", where we toured the country alongside Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

Over the years I was the vocalist for another metal band called "Curse Your Name" and since then I've been focusing on writing electronic pop and synth wave under the name "A Silent City" and, I've also dabbled in singer-songwriter style music under the name "Christopher Ryan".

CYNDER

Cynder was the first official band that I was a vocalist for. This hard rock/metal band was started with my best friends in high school, and we went on to have national acclaim and were featured on MTV's "Battle for Ozzfest", where we toured the country with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

CURSE YOUR NAME

From the ashes of Cynder, the remaining members and I formed a new hard rock/metal band called Curse Your Name. This band wrote 2 more full-length albums, and continued to tour the southeast USA until we disbanded in 2010.

A SILENT CITY

In my later years I became obsessed with writing electronic music and listening to synthwave and electro-pop. A Silent City was a music project I started in my free time once I got deep into my filmmaking career. I've only released 1 song so far, but I hope to write more in the future.

CHRISTOPHER RYAN

It's a far cry from my metal-head days, but in my later years I have absolutely fallen in love with playing the acoustic guitar and writing americana and country/folk style songs. My passion for this style of music grows more every day, and I've actually put together an EP worth of songs so far and hope to release more very soon!
